If you had $35K to spend on 1 car, what would you do? Would you go used and build or go new and do tiny mods to?

also, song. relates, since it's about getting a "dream machine"

Personally, I'd find a 1966 ford galaxie 500 coupe/2-door sedan. Up front, I'd put a 5.0 out of a GT mustang, and bore it out to 5.3L. in the cabin, I'd put some nice bucket seats with a console and a 6-speed shifter in between. On each corner, I'd go with Pilot super sports: 255/55/17 (front) and 275/55/18 (rear) to give it that staggered look. I'd also give it proper suspension and some decent brakes. Finish it off with pea-green paint, matte copper accents on wheels, and some white hood stripes

I'd buy another Integra GS-R and a full security system consisting of alarm, kill switches, spike strips, cameras, and a Mossberg shotgun.

Eh, this reminds me about an old joke I heard about farmers.

This farmer isn't really one to gamble, but a friend buys him a lottery ticket. Turns out it's the big winner, and he gets a check for $100M. Everybody assumes he's going to buy a new truck, retire, move to Hawaii, or something, but nothing changes, so they call him to be interviewed on the local radio station. When they ask him how he's going to spend the money, he answers "Oh, I recon I'll just keep farmin' till it's gone."

So yeah, give me $35k, and I'd probably just keep driving my current car 'till I've used it all up. Although $35k will buy A LOT of Escort parts cars, so that would take a while lol.
